I am notoriously bad with plants. Gradually I gave up on them. I was sure I just wasn’t cut out to keep plants if I couldn’t even keep a cactus alive. And here I am now, the owner of six more or less thriving air plants.

These are four of my favourite things – all of which and more The Alexander Theatre offers Finnish musical devotees with their 2019 production “Iloisten Sielujen Hotelli”. Paradoxically, the performance was both thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining and painfully sunk in humdrum mediocrity.
Amongst the crowded landscape of ridges tumbling endlessly over each other, it seems that one could hide the grandest of secrets and find the most glorious of adventures. And so I trust my feet and keep on climbing.
“God, I feel old,” I groan when I finally get the shoes off and sit up.

And thus on that delightful day my worries washed away with a visit to the three sisters Belle. I once crossed paths with the eldest during a particularly crass predicament. To protect my pride, I'll omit what occurred that day; but by the end of it, I owed the dame a few dimes.
People are working more – longer, harder, more productively – but receiving less. This is a defining shift in our society and a defining feature of the labor market that we as millennials have entered: a market which demands as much as possible for as little as possible.
