My Eternal Sin
I see her…
I swallow the bitterness,
the tanginess of her parting.
I see her with the one who stole her,
and murdered me.
And I blame the heart that came too late,
and forsook her.
A destiny I longed for myself,
but which became another's tale.
I see her…
I see her smiling eyes of a sparkling universe,
and with a sprinkling of the magic within.
I see her two caramel eyes, which I yearned to adore.
I see him…
And God have mercy for I see him.
Gently Stroking her raven hair and shattering me.
And I judge a heart which panicked that it lost her for eternity.
An angel that since I beheld her, became consumed by her scent.
A divinity, with whom I wished an eternity of closeness,
till my heart freezes.
And I prayed my breaths vanished by force before I leave her heart .
She is a paradise,
and in her details, the seventh skies.
In the strands of her hair sun for a heart that devoted for her shine.
And who dare to not fall for her caramel eyes.
Her raven strands with her deadly gaze.
Who would not drown in her love?
Who would not immerse themselves in the chaos of her laughter?
She is a universe, moons and stars.
She is my troubled trembles.
And my desperate sighs.
She is my loneliness and my darkness.
My light and my burning sun.
Is there no escape from her love or between the ways of her heart an attempt.
In deifying her, I became desperate.
For who could not fall for whom the poets written upon her cherry lips?
Between her details is my misery.
And amid her lips, my poison.
A poison rotting inside me.
And I welcomed it with my misery.
For in the darkness, I hide my wailing.
Waiting in an exile of longing.
And my sin is loving her until it devours me.
As my demon wishes for him to vanish.
A criminal I am in my obsession.
And my crime is to worship whom I will never have.
A devoted believer to my holy eternal sin.
To die faded in her idolatry and end my life as her darkest shadow.
